The Venue: Botley Hill Barn
Adam and Georgia chose an exquisite location for their wedding: Botley Hill Barn (@botleyhillbarn). Settled atop a valley of gorgeous rolling Surry hills, this gem of a venue offers a luxury barn setting and exclusive use for anyone’s big day, turning your dream into a reality. The stunning Main Barn, with its huge floor-to-ceiling windows, allows for breath-taking panoramic views that stretch far and wide across the North Downs. It is a rustic but modern space for your wedding banquet, crafted outside from black timber, and inside of reclaimed wood and featuring exposed steel beams. And when the sun sets, you’ll have a front row seat as golden light spills across the valley just for you!

Adam and Georgia’s day was at the end of October, and they weren’t so lucky with the weather (although I personally think the fog made their couple portraits look magical!) As the day went on, Georgia was coming to terms with the fact that she wouldn’t get any photos showing the beautiful view, then, at the very end of the speeches, the fog and clouds parted revealing a bright, fiery sun set! I was praying for Adam to finish his speech before we lost the sun altogether, but Georgia’s bridesmaids took matters into their own hands and stole Georgia’s attention away from the loving words Adam was saying and getting her to turn around and see the view! She immediately told Adam to wrap it up and we legged it outside. I’m glad she thinks the photos were worth cutting Adam off for!!!

But before you are entranced by the view, you can host your ceremony in their lovely red brick Oakley Barn. This intimate setting is simply perfect for a heart-felt ceremony, and gives fairy-tale vibes, especially if you adorn it with candles, or light the gorgeous fireplace! Of course, if you’re lucky with the weather, a venue like Botley Hill Barn isn’t going to disappoint you! They have two (yes, two!) outdoor ceremony spaces so you can say I-do surrounded by nature and wonderful Surry Hills views.
And no venue would be complete without accommodation for you to rest your ‘partied hard’ feet! Botley Hill Barn offers irresistible custom-made shepherds huts. Every detail is crafted for luxury, from solid-oak flooring to Farrow & Ball colour schemes. The huts are perfectly spacious and have everything you need including fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms and log-burning stove. And of course, you get fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries to pamper yourself before bedtime! But if you-re not ready to say goodbye to your wedding day yet, each hut has a fire pit. So, wrap a blanket round your shoulders and start toasting those marshmallows!

The Outfits
Georgia wore a gorgeous Justin Alexander (@justinalexander) gown from London Bride UK (@LondonBrideUk). I adored the soft tulle skirting that pooled irresistibly into a perfect length train, and the lace leaf and ribbon detail on the top flawlessly complimented her natural make up (@Kymmakeup95) and soft-curled hair with silver leaf headband (@amystar.salon) She injected some of her feisty personality by adding fun dark green velvet shoes from Monsoon! She went full-Georgia in the evening though, getting changed into funky, feathered shoulder jumpsuit (@nadinemerabi) so she could party the night away with no restrictions!
Her five amazing bridesmaids wore different style dresses, all in the same classy, dark green, from TFNC London (@tfnclondon).
The boys kept up their end of things as well, and presented their handsome selves each in a tux (my favourite choice of suit for a wedding!) Adam elevated his look to ensure he was the perfect groom, with a jacket from Hawkes & Curtis (@hawesandcurtisglobal). A rose boutonniere matched him perfectly to Georgia’s pale pink, wild bouquet by MelsMelsblooms.co.uk.
The Day

I had such an amazing time photographing Adam and Georgia’s day with my trusty second shooter side kick Adell! The day began with excitement and happy tears as preparations went ahead (including Georgia’s brother donning his ‘Big Mitch’ bucket hat ready for his role as flower boy! Adam waited patiently at the top of the aisle with his groomsmen for support, and fought back the tears as Georgia made her way to him escorted by both her parents.

After a fabulous reading from Georgia’s grandfather, and some heart felt vows and I-do’s, they exited as a married couple under showers of confetti!

Then it was time to kick things up a notch! Drinks were passed around and everyone wore their personalised shades! Dinner and speeches done (cut off early for the sunset of course!), they cut their gorgeous cake (made for them by a friend) and hit the dance floor for their first dance. Georgia’s bridesmaids warmed up the dancefloor as she went to change into her evening outfit, helped along perfectly by their band TFI Brit Pop (@tfiBritpop) and fuelled by delicious pizza from Venti (@venti.pizza)

Many, many congratulations guys! Thanks for having us!
